Geoff recovering after Op

Thirty-nine year old Geoff was diagnosed with leukaemia last summer and after a successful bone marrow match with his sister Kay, he underwent surgery at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital last week. The surgery was completed without any complications, report IcCheshire.

In his two spells at Gresty Road he made over 150 appearances as well as going onto play for England, along with a whole host of other clubs across the country.
