Dario told the official site he has had contact from Montgomery & Co but Dario told Montgomery that Bankole will have a chance to prove his fitness over the next couple of days. Dario has used 4 keepers in the last 3 games already as Bankole, Ince and loanee Milosevic all suffered bad injuries. The first to recover seems to be Bankole who has now returned to training and will see action against Shrewsbury in the LDV tomorrow if fit.

Dario will see if Bankole has completely recoverd from the hamstring strain he picked up Vs Huddersfield and decide whether to take up the offer of Montgomery on loan.
Montgomery has been at Crewe before. During last season when Bankole was injured Montgomery came in and sat his 1 month spell on the bench without seeing action, if he does come onloan he will likley to go straight in between the posts tomorrow night.

Other news is that Walton won't face Shrewsbury after picking up a knock on saturday but should be fine for Saturday and David Wright will be rested. It will see a return for Rich Walker and Sodje. Darios staying tight lipped on who will figure up front from 40 goal strike force, Steve Jones, Dean Ashton and Rob Hulse.
