20-year-old Osman had been recommended to Crewe boss Dario Gradi and the midfielder did impress the management but felt at the time it would be best if he was monitored at his club Maidenhead United.
Osman who is an attacking midfielder is rated highly in the Southern League Premier Division. He has also played for Hampton and Richmond and also got selected for the Englsih Colleges squad to tour Italy in the summer of 2005.
