27 year-old Osman who released after two seasons at Gresty Road signed a one-year deal with the Jags.

Osman had offers from Russia, Cyprus and Greece but opted to move to Scotland after impressing in a trial match against Dumbarton.

Osman had a stint of Scottish football when the Ghanaian midfielder played for the ill fated Gretna during the 2007/08 season where he stayed until the club folded.

He became a bit of a cult hero in his first season after some impressive displays for the Railwaymen and was part of the winning team that lifted the Johnstones Paint Trophy at Wembley in 2013.
