FIFA Call Off Championships

But FIFA must take into account its responsibilities towards the players, officials and other parties, as well as towards the media and spectators.”

The England U-20s were set to go and Dean Ashton was set to join them. He would have missed up to 7 vital games in the run in to the end of the season and with him on his best form we would have certainly missed the 19 year old. However due to the prospect of war the Championships will be postponed and be played in the United Arab Emirates at a later date. the championships were to be held between 25th March and 16th April.
