26-year-old Elding signed for the Whites for a fee in the region of £150k-200k back in January and this after Stockport had agreed a similar fee with Crewe. Elding went on to make nine appearances for United netting only once and that was in a 2-1 defeat to Cheltenham Town.
Prior to him signing for Leeds he enjoyed a good spell at Stockport County netting 24 times in 45 league appearances for the Hatters.
Elding has had spells at Boston (twice), Kettering and Stevenage Borough taking his over all league career total to 216 appearance and 86 goals.
