25 year-old Richard Walker has signed for League
One and local rivals Port Vale. Foyle did enquire
about the towering centre half in January but Dario
refused to let him go out loan.
Now Foyle has won the race to sign Richard
Walker
and the big centre half looks set to fit the bill as the
Valiant's look to rebuild after a mediocre season in
League One. Walker who made 117 appearances
for the Railwaymen was one of seven players
released yesterday as Dario himself looks set to
rebuild for life in League One.
A happy Martin Foyle said "He is a big commanding
centre half, he wants to improve his game. He needs
more games under his belt, but he is a good one and
he has a superb attitudeand that's what he needs if
he is going to go on and improve himself".
