Nixon had supposedly joined the Alex coaching staff to help the goalkeepers but after a major backlash from Tranmere fans calling him things such as 'traitor' he denied he has left Tranmere Rovers for the Alex... He told the local Tranmere paper... "Not true,Its disconcerting to hear and read things about yourself that are untrue.
"I was called a 'Judas' by someone in the stand on Saturday but anyone who knows me knows how I feel about Tranmere."

Nixon helped out on a 'day off' and never has joined Crewe.
