22-year-old Dugdale came through the academy ranks at Crewe and signed professional forms back in 2006 and was sent out on loan to Accrington Stanley and Southport but was released a year later.
After his release he signed for Droylesden in November 2007 and saw out the season with them the start of the 2008-09 season he went to Belgium and played for Racing Club Montegnee.
Last season he joined AFC Barrow in July but in November he joined Hyde United on loan. At the turn of the year Dugdale joined AFC Telford on a short term contract which saw his at the Bucks Head until the end of the season.
Dugdale since then arrived at Crewe on trial after hoping to resurrect his professional career and has now earned that with a six-month contract after impressing in training and in the pre-season friendlies.
