Dugdale leaves club by mutual consent.

27-year-old Dugdale was in his second spell at the Alex when he re-joined back on 2010.

He went on to make 141 appearances for the Railwaymen and played a big part that saw the Railwaymen promoted via the play-offs in 2012 where he netted in the fist leg against Southend United.

Dugdale also netted the winning goal against Preston North End in the last game of the season that saw the Alex stay up after enduring a long season flirting with relegation.

The popular Liverpool born defender made his debut for the Alex in his second spell after he came through the clubs ranks initially in 2006 while at Crewe he was loaned out to Accrington and Southport before leaving the club and joining Droylsden.

In July 2009 he joined Barrow and made 10 appearances which also involved a loan at Hyde United before he joined the Alex. His last appearance for the Railwaymen was in the 2-1 defeat to Notts County where he came on as a sub for Jon Gutherie. Duggy as affectionately know to the fans made 23 appearances this season and netted the only goal in the 1-0 away win at Walsall.
