Crystal Palace left the Division on Saturday after six years of struggle after they beat London rivals West Ham in the Play-Off final. It was Neil Shipperley who shinned the rebound in after Andy Johnson's inital shot. It leaves that 'massive' London club - West Ham - in the division for another season.
Today Brighton pulled off a mini shock in beating Bristol City in the Division Two Play-Offs. Leon Knight hit home a penalty ten minutes from time to put the South Coast club back into Division One, after unluckily being relegated for the sake of Stoke City.
Fixtures for the new season come out on June 24th 2004 with the season kicking off on August 7th, not long now.
