Welsh international
The 21-year-old has made the left midfield spot his own this season and his ability has not gone unnoticed by the manager. Dario spoke to crewealex.net and told them he believes that
"He has been an outstanding player for us this season and has turned into a potential match winner. He took his goal very well on Saturday after great work from Anthony Tonkin and looks dangerous every time he goes forward.
"We need more of the youngsters to come through and progress like Vaughany.
"It has taken David time to develop into his new role. He would often say that he played better at full-back when he can come on to the ball and he was probably right - but we think he would never be a top player if he continued to be a left-back. He will be in this role.
"He has the potential to play in the Premiership playing in this role, especially if he continued to produce performances like he did on Saturday. He still has a bit to do and let me assure you we are in no rush to sell him.
