The Railwaymen play their penultimate home pre-season game tonight KO 7.45pm against Premiership new boys Derby County.
Derby County have spent around £9m on players as they look to establish themselves in the Premiership after gaining promotion via the play-offs.
Billy Davies has built a very good team bringing in some exciting young players over the past year.

During the summer Davies has brought in Robert Earnshaw, Tyrone Mears, Andrew Griffin, and Claude Davies. This on top of some big money signings during last season in which Derby spent near on £6m to reach the Premiership.


Crewe Team News

Crewe have a few players out with injury, Michael O'Connor, Tom Pope and David Vaughan are definitely out while Ben Williams and Danny Woodards are struggling with knocks and will not be risked.
George Abbey will make his debut in place of Danny Woodards while Stuart 'Cat' Tomlinson will try and stake a claim for the number one spot.

Derby Team News

Derby play their second match within twenty-four hours and look set for a mixture of youth and some senior players. Derby had a strong side out last night as they beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the Brian Clough Trophy.
The players that were on the bench look set for a run out tonight at Gresty Road.
Derby look certain to have two big target men up front in the shape of Jon Macken and Steve Howard, Darren Moore looks set to play in defence and County's newest signing Andrew Griffin looks set to play after he signed from Portsmouth.
