Dean Ashton scored a penalty a minute before half time when England were already 1-0 after a Darren Carter goal.

But Ireland thought back and were 3-2 up by the end of the match. This means Deano will be back training with his Crewe team mates on monday and will probably play against Macclesfield Town next saturday.
