Deano injury scare

Deano is the main striker for the next season and with only 4 days till the new season now is the worst possible time to get an injury. Ashton strained his hamstring slighty in training today and it's touch and go if he'll make it for the Wimbledon game on saturday. It comes on the day Dario took a step further to bolstering the attack when he placed a bid in for Rodgers, but it's unlikely that transfer will be complete till next week.
"We will make a bid for Luke Rodgers but it seems unlikely he'll be here for the weekend, especially if they're asking silly money for him" Dario explained.
Other news is that it is unlikely to see Justin Cochrane on Saturday and struggling to shake off a bruise on his shin which he picked up at Tranmere.
