David Wright off to JJB

The fee hasn't been disclosed but Wrighty is in Wigan talking to manager Paul Jewell and chairman Dave Whelan. Living in Warrington he lives close enough to know the area and as long as Jewell can convince him that he'll be a Premiership player soon then it seems Wright will sign a deal with Wigan.
The 24 year old spent 7 seasons in a Crewe shirt at right back, making his debut in 1997 in a 2-0 win at Norwich. He scored just three goals in his time at Crewe, two of them against West Brom and one against Chesterfield - and our very own Ben Williams.
