Kitson scored 25 goals for Cambridge in Division Three last year and has been widely tipped to go onto bigger things in the future. With assistant manager Neil Baker not at Crewe vs Wimbledon it is believed he was watching Kitson score a late equaliser for Cambridge against Huddersfield in a 2-2 draw.
Dario said today "I know we were linked with Luke Rodgers but we are still looking for a bigger guy to play upfront"
With Baker actually missing a match to watch Kitson the interest in Kitson looks serious and maybe we could see a bid soon.
