Talking to BBC Radio Stoke the FOOTBALL GENIUS SAID:

"It was a good day all round and I think it was a fair result. We threatened more in the first half and the introduction of Earnshaw made a difference to them in the second half.

"With him and Thorne up front they will have a chance in the play-offs because they are a threat as a partnership.

"Rob Hulse played well today and it was a shame we had to take him off because he was pulling off and causing problems in the second-half - but I wanted to give Dean Ashton a run because he has been an imporant player this season. It was a day of celebration for him and everyone to enjoy.

"A draw was what everyone wanted and a fair result. I think everyone went home happy.

"We played some good football on a difficult surface. Steve Jones and David Vaughan had terrific runs. Vaughany has done a superb job for us and we will be on the look out for a left-back in the summer because I want to play him further forward.

"We will have a chat about Paul Tierney because he'll do. He would be fine for us even if it is on a years loan or something. Hopefully, we will be able to sort something out.

"It was great to see Richard score the goal because he has worked so hard at that at training. It has paid off for him and I'm delighted for him because he has spend time on trying to score from set pieces.

"It is a day of celebration and everyone deserves the success. I hope the fans have a good night and I'm sure they will."
