It seems that the injury toll is taking a grip on the Crewe squad and with a crunch match this Saturday to near rivals Port Vale, Crewe boss Dario Gradi may resort to another loan player.
Key players are struggling to be fit for our local derby against Port Vale with club captain Neil Cox (Calf), Julien Baudet (Hamstring), Andy Taylor (Concussion), Billy Jones (Hamstring), Michael O'Connor (Knee), David Vaughan (Hamstring), Jon Otsemodor (Heel) and now added to the ever increasing list Gary Roberts who went off injured last night and it seems the club may have to build a bigger treatment room.
So Dario may have to plunge into the market again for the fourth time or he could however keep faith with rookie centre halves Daniel O'Donnell and Darran Kempson. It does seem that Dario would like to sign a similar player in the same mould as Neil Cox who would lead the line of the back four.
