Dario takes the McKie.

Crewe boss has taken former Tottenham Hotspur left-back on trial with a view of signing him. The 21-year-old former England Youth International has been released at Spurs after progressing though the Spurs Academy. Although he never appeared in the first team Marcel was a regular in the reserves last season. McKie had been recommended by former player Justin Cochrane who had been released himself by the Alex at the end of last season.

Dario has now a few trialists at the club to look at as he prepares for life in League One. Already onboard are Morcambe players Darran Kempson (Defender) and Scott Davies (Goal-keeper) and Marcel looks to impress in training to book a seat on the clubs pre-season training camp in Portugal.
Dario does have a vacancy in the left-back position since the departure of Anthony Tonkin who was released at the end of the season and now it's upto McKie to impress the Alex backroom staff.
