Dario On Bargain Hunt

Tierney and Oakes, both loanees, look likely to sign for Crewe. Oakes will be released from his club, Leciester, in the summer and is looking for a new club. He stated last month he would take a pay cut to join Crewe. Tierney though is still contracted under Manchester United and Dario will have to see if they're willing to let him go for free.

"In Paul's case we would also have to talk to his club Manchester United. I don't think Paul is going to play for us again this season because of his injury but we need to chat with him and find out if he'd like to continue his rehab here or at Man Utd."

Other signings from outside the club will have to be bargains though as Dario will not be spending money the Alex don't have.

"Unless we sell someone we will not be able to afford the wages of the freebies that will be available so we will still be looking for bargains."
