Dario makes move for striker

The clubs have agreed a deal but the player will mull over it before Dario reveals who the Premiership player is. Gradi says it'll be a "very good signing" if it materialised. Dario says all the details have been arranged and as long as the player agrees the deal will go ahead.

Names have already popped up. Some saying Rob Hulse will return; to his team mate Scott Dobie moving from West Brom. Neil Mellor from Liverpool is another name who has been linked to Crewe in the past. Other names could be Eddie Johnson from Manchester United or even Nick Chadwick from Everton, who Dario tried to sign last season.

For now it'll be a guessing game for fans until the player agrees or rejects the move.
