Clayton Ince is to wait until the last moment before giving a decision on whether or not he will sign his deal. Despite indications from Ince that he is keen to sign, Berry appears adamant that his client will wait until the last possible moment. The 32-year old Trinidadian International's advisor Mike Berry revealed, "The deadline we have been given is when pre-season training starts (30th June), so Clayton is not likely to give an answer until then."

Ince has flown back into the country and is able to begin contract talks although his agent has advised him to wait for a more lucrative offer. However, sources close to the 'keeper suggest that he will sign the two-year deal offered by the club.

Should Ince sign his deal, it is likely that he will be away for most of July with the Trinidadian International squad as the Soca Warriors compete in the upcoming Gold Cup in the USA. This is despite an alleged recent bust up with Trinidad boss Leo Beenhakker.
