Dario assured Crewe fans there's no chance of him leaving and with 4 years left on his contract he'll be staying with the club that he's built over the past 20 years.

Dario Gradi told the clubs official site... “I do not expect to be contacted by the FA in regards to the Technical Director position but I understand why my name has cropped again in the papers.
“I was linked with the position last time around and I make no secret of the fact that it was a job I would love to do, but I prefer what we trying to achieve at Crewe. There has been no development and I don’t expect there to be any. I don’t think I would want to leave Crewe even if the opportunity arose.
He adds: “Howard Wilkinson did a super job at the FA and his ideas on Academy football and getting it implemented was a tremendous accomplishment. It is similar to what I would have wanted if I taken the job.
“We now have the best kids playing each other on excellent facilities. It will be interesting to see who gets the job and where it all goes from here.”
