Hulse yesterday went to WBA for £750k(With £250k added on). Dario is quick to

use the money as he bids to find a perfect left back. Dario has spoke many times of wanting to play David Vaughan further on the wing, than at left back, and it makes finding a left back number one priority. Today he revealed he has bid for one but is waiting to hear if the bid was successful - but warned he won't be upping his bid...

"We have made an offer for a player, but he is a left-back, and we are waiting to see if it will be accepted. It hasn't yet and we won't increase our bid."

With Hulse gone it leaves only one real striker, who has the experience, that is Dean Ashton. Dario said last month he would rather test out the youth but today made things clearer - he will be bringing in a replacement for Hulse but just won't be ruched on such a matter.

"We'll take our time looking for a replacement for Rob."
