Dario had his thoughts on it by highlighting the only 2 impressive players. Dean Ashton who probably had his best game of the season and Clayton Ince who was immense at keeping their attackers at bay.
"Dean did well and while I told the players afterwards we didn't really have a man-of-the-match, he was probably it. He was the one who played nearest to his potential and he made a great contribution to the game," added Gradi.
"I think now when Dean gets in such as he did for his first goal he is going to score. Earlier in the season and last year I didn't, I wasn't sure.
"However, the goalkeeper (Clayton Ince) bailed us out and in the end our spirit was good. We packed our defence and we didn't give them clear openings. From that point of view it was good and we had the quality to finish which they didn't have. On the few occasions we did produce it, it resulted in goals."
Then told how he thinks the league campaign is going: " "I am happy with the way it has gone for us in this League.
"Maybe this is our level and maybe we will be a yo-yo club between the Second and First.
"But if we get back up this season I think it will be a good record having spent five seasons in Division One and then going back up straight away. I would be disappointed now if we didn't get into the play-offs."
