Crisis hits as Walters is recalled

Allan Smart has been ruled out for up to 6 weeks after an ankle injury in a reserve match at Tranmere yesterday. Following on from that blow Dario has been told that onloan striker Jonathan Walters has been recalled to Bolton. It leaves just Ashton and Jones as the two fit 'experienced' strikers but with their recent form - it doesn't look good.

Youngster Paul Edwards is back to fitness after a badly bruised ankle but he won't be thrown in at the deep end just yet. Dario will look at the possibilities of bringing in another striker.
