With Gudjon Thordarson being relieved of his duties on Frida, former boss Dario Gradi has stepped back into to take over team affairs.

Gradi watched over Friday's training session which was taken by Steve Davis and with Billy Jones and Patrick Ada both suspended team changes are a foot.

Mat MItchel-King will take over the captains armband and fill in at the heart of defence as he replaces the suspended Patrick Ada, while Ashley Westwood will fill in at left back for suspended captain Billy Jones who was sent off against Bury on Tuesday night.

James Bailey looks set for a recall to the first team by playing in the middle of midfield while Steven Schumacher has a late fitness test. If he fails the test Byron Moore will take his place.

Anthony Elding looks set for a recall by grabbing a place on the bench.

Rotherham United boss Ronnie Moore will assess the fitness of former Crewe striker Tom Pope who is still feeling the effects of a back injury he picked up in the 3-1 defeat at Northampton Town.

If Pope fails his fitness test then Ryan Taylor and former Chester City striker Drew Broughton could fill in for Pope.

Goalkeeper Andy Warrington looks set to shrug off a knock which he picked up in the same game as Pope.
