The impressive Cirencester found a way back just 10 minutes later from the penalty spot. Paul Bignot, brother of former Alex full back Marcus Bignot, had been ajudged to have 'impeded' Zebrowski and so it allowed Ciren's Slattery to equalise.
Crewe continued to play impressive football but a couple of excellent stops from the Cirencester keeper denied highly rated Kyle Wilson to put Crewe in the lead.
After extra time it went to penalties... after 5 penalties each it was 5-5. The rhythm was broken when Cirens Tom Etheridge smashed over the bar, leaving Crewe's Chris White to roll the winning ball home.
