Crewe Team News Vs Walsall

Adie Moses has been out of action for a couple of months with a on going hamstring problem but the centeral defender returned last week and after 2 reserve appearances he could be ready to take a starting 11 spot. Dario could put Adie Moses in the centre of defence, with Foster, moving David Wright out to the right back spot and moving 16 year old Billy Jones into midfield, Sorvel or Higdon could be sacrificed.

It will give us height & experience in defence whilst in midfield it will give us a bit of bite.

Up front Dario is waiting on news of Dean Ashton's injury. The U-21 international has been suffering with a hamstring problem for the past month and miss last weeks defeat at home to Millwall. Dario turned down a chance to give him a late fitness test last week, but after training yesterday Dario will see if he's fit enough to travel down today. If he isn't then Paul Edwards will keep his place in the team.

New striker Eamon Zayed hasn't done enough to win a place in the team. He will be left at home if Dean Ashton is fit, otherwise he'll be on the bench by default.

Crewe still miss Vaughan, Brammer, Cochrane, McCready, Varney and Smart. Vaughan and Cochrane will be fit for the Bradford City away trip a week tomorrow, Brammer is back in light training, McCready is still a couple of weeks away, Smart is out for the next few weeks after knee op and Varney is out for the season with a shoulder injury.

Probable 11.
