Kenny Lunt was also set to be out of tonights game with a dead leg but hospital treatment has seen him pass fit for tonight and he may also play a part in tonights game.
Rix and Vaughan both impressed when they came on as subs in the 2-1 defeat at Bradford. The 20 year olds could be challenging for the same spot in the team. Vaughan recently recovered from a knee operation that kept him out for 3 months, another player still returning from a lengthy lay off is Justin Cochrane. Cochrane spent 2 months out after pulling a hamstring against Wimbledon. Although he failed to stamp his authority on the game over the weekend he may still keep his place.
Dave Brammer is still building up to his come back, maybe at the start of next month, whilst Luke Varney, Chris McCready, Allan Smart and Gary Roberts are all certainly out of the game.
Billy Jones will once again be rested on the bench, but will be playing in tomorrow's Youth Cup 5th Round game at Sunderland.
