Dario has told fans that new loan signing Craig Hignett will return to the club with a starting place. Hignett, who scored 6 goals his last 4 Alex games in 1992 including four against Wrexham will 'regain' his place in the side after signing onloan from Leicester this week.

The 34 year old will be joined by Justin Cochrane and David Vaughan in the 16 man squad. Vaughan has recovered from a knee operation that kept him out for 3 months and Justin Cochrane has recovered from a hamstring injury that's kept him out since the start of the year.

It's unknown if either Cochrane or Vaughan will start the game. One man, or boy, out of the game is Billy Jones. With plenty of options in midfield to choose from Dario is allowing the 16 year old to rest this weekend after he arrived back from Holland where he played in a England U-19 match. Billy hasn't been out of the team since the start of December - something Dario didn't want.

New signing Eamon Zayed may get his chance on the bench after Dean Ashton came out of the U-21 match 'tired' so Deano may not last 90 minutes. Still injured though are Chris McCready, Dave Brammer, Allan Smart, Luke Varney and Gary Roberts. David Brammer has been training and could make a surprise return for the Stoke City match a week on Saturday, but that's only if he is absolutely 100% fit.

So for the first time in aggggggggeeeeeeessss the team doesn't pick its self. Possible 16...
