Liam Lawrence has attracted a host of 'big' clubs and it seems Crewe have just joined the que. Rotherham United have already had bids rejected but the likes of Sunderland are getting involved in the summer so Crewe's chances of getting Lawrence are slim.
It is thought Dario will move for Lawrence next week should Neil Mellor fail to agree to the transfer deal. Dario said,"We have a couple of targets in mind. One of them we'd need to pay for and we will examine that this week."
Lawrence is out of contract this summer but with him being only 23 it means Mansfield are entitled to compensation - which is what Dario will probably examine.
Meanwhile, Andy White has been released by Mansfield. The striker has had Dario rushed off his feet opening the Andy White Fan Club, which still only has one member. Fans are hoping we don't sign the striker who has failed to impress on loan at 3 conference clubs in a row.
