Crewe look to sign loan midfielder.

Dario Gradi is looking to bring in a loan midfielder on loan to make up for the loss of some players.

Lee Bell and Michael O'Connor are already ruled out through injury. Bell suffered a set back after sustained an ankle injury in training on Monday, while O'Connor picked up a knee injury from a bad tackle against Bristol City on Saturday. With Tony Grant still working on fitness and Gary Roberts red card appeal rejected by the FA it has left Crewe boss a little thin on the ground with midfield players.
The only other player that would come in is Ben Rix so it seems that Dario will bring in a loan player to cover the midfield. Crewe had been linked before the transfer deadline with ex-midfielder Dave Brammer, but now Brammer has now found himself on the bench at the Britannia after an influx of loan signings at the club.
Another player that has been mentioned is another ex-player, Kenny Lunt has found it hard to settle at Sheffield Wednesday since his move in the summer and found himself out of the squad altogether for the home game against Barnsley last Saturday.
Also another player finding it hard to get a regular place is another ex-player Seth Johnson. Gradi did enquire about the former player in the summer but he decided to fight for his place at Pride Park.
