Crewe look at Fortune?

It seems that Crewe boss Dario Gradi may look to bolster a frail defence and that could mean making a move for Leyton Orient's Clayton Fortune.

24 year-old defender Fortune is currently on loan at League One rivals Port Vale and is avaliable on a free so long as he can sort out a pay off from the O's. Fortune has put in some good performances for the Valiants and is in his second spell at the club after being on loan last season from Bristol City.

It has been reported that Crewe had a scout at the Vales last home match against Brighton to run a careful eye over the former Spurs trainee.
January will prove a very interesting month for the Alex and it could well see movement in various areas of the playing staff in and out.
