Crewe linked with £150k move for Stevenage striker.

With the deal for Stuart Fleetwood looking a million miles away and the collapse of the transfer of damien Spencer, Crewe may turn their attention to another non-league hotshot.

Sunday's press has Crewe linked with a move for Stevenage Borough's Steve Morison who hit 34 goals last season and has so far netted 13 goals in the Blue square Premiership this season.

Crewe have watched the former Northampton Town striker on a few occasions and Crewe could tempt Peter Taylor with a serious bid and the lure of plying his trade back in the Football League.
