The youngster who signed for the Foxes last season had been spotted playing for Redditch United and since his move has played for Leicester Reserves.
Foxes manager Nigel Pearson is keen on Verma to get some first team action before he decides on offering the youngster a contract extension.
Verma actually started his career with Leicester City in the Academy and after his release he joined Bedworth and then joined Redditch United.
