Crewe boss Dario revealed that he failed to land Brighton and Hove Albions Michael Kuipers.
32-year-old Kuipers has been with the Seagulls for 6 seasons but has found himself down the pecking order at the Withdean.
Dutch born Kuipers contract expires at the end of the season and he has had loan spells last season at Boston and Hull City. It seems that his agent said he was allowed to leave on a free but Mark McGhee wanted to hold onto the keeper. So for now Stuart Tomlinson remains at the club for the foreseeable future and will be number two to Ben Williams.
