No it's not April 1st, but today the chairman John Bowler announced on Radio Stoke that a controlling interest is for sale in the club with two currnent board members prepaired to sell their shares. The club has a net asset value of £8m and that sophisticated investors only need apply. What impact this will have on the club is unknown and hopefully who ever invests will take the club forward and upwards.
