With the transfer window well and truly open club boss Dario Gradi has said he has only one enquiry for one his players.
Out-of-favour striker Luke Rodgers has another admirer, this time Swindon Town of League Two have agreed a fee for the former Shrewsbury Town striker.

Gradi told the official site "A few people have asked about him and there is another club interested but they have to get one out before they can get anyone one in. I'm afraid that is how it is.

"Luke has said he doesn't want to move down a division and I don't know if he has changed his mind. All I can do is make him aware of any interest. I expect him to be the only player to leave in the transfer window and even then I wouldn't be too disappointed either if he stayed.

"No one has enquired about anyone else and I won't go through the whole of January denying these stories. If there is anything to tell, then we will say it. It is true to say that the only enquiry we have had is for Luke Rodgers.”

Rodgers had already turned down an approach from League Two outfit Hereford United and also another enquiry from Accrington Stanley. Although Rodgers may want to hold out for a team more local and with Port Vale trying to fend off interest in Leon Constantine they may see Rodgers as an ideal replacement if Constantine moves.
