David Vaughan's Crewe career looks set to end as the player flys out to Donostia-San Sebastián the home of Real Sociedad after the Spanish team had a £300k bid accepted.
24-year-old Vaughan is out of contract next summer and it seems Crewe look set to cash in on the Welsh International rather than losing him for nothing.
Sociedad are managed by former Fulham manager Chris Coleman and Coleman is know to be a admirer of the Welsh winger.
The Basque team were releagated last season after spending 40 years in the La Liga and are now looking to bounce back to the top flight at the first attempt under Colemans guidance.
Vaughan missed the mid week game against Hull City as he was at the birth of his child.
