Confusion Remains Over Alex's First Game

Wimbledon FC this morning said they would be playing their home games for the forseeable future at Crystal Palace's ground, Selhurst Park. However Crystal Palace have hit back and said they didn't know that!

Chief Executive, Phil Alexander, has released a statement:

“We have had no contact whatsoever with representatives from either Wimbledon Football Club or their administrators.

“As far as Crystal Palace Football Club is concerned Wimbledon FC will not be playing at Selhurst Park.

“Until such times as we might have communication with Wimbledon FC or their administrators this situation will remain.”

This leaves us Alex fans with absolutely no idea where we will kick off our new season. Milton Keynes is off the list and now Selhurst Park doesn't look that likely. Wimbledon may even have to take up their idea of playing all home games away.
