Cochrane signs up till 2006

Dario has been boosted by the news that summer signing Justin Cochrane has signed a new contract to keep him at Gresty Road till 2006. The midfield dynamo signed from Hayes in summer 2003 and has started all but 1 match since signing. Winning over all the fans with his no nonsense tackling and battling to the last second, Cochrane signed a new contract today.

The 21 year old told CreweAlex.net, the official site, that he's just delighted to be at Crewe: "They have told me I have been rewarded for my hard work and I am delighted to have signed and keep myself here for a few more years.

"2003 have been an exceptional year for me and I can't believe what has happened. From playing non-league football to playing regularly here, and now to have signed a new contract is a dream come true."

Cochrane is out of action till next month after pulling a hamstring over the weekend.
