It seems that Crewe may have a battle on to keep hold of 23-year old Jon Otsemobor as two Championship clubs have shown interest in the right-back.
Preston North End have earmarked him as an ideal replacement for Tyrone Mears who joined Premiership side West Ham United for a fee of £1.9m. Also alerted of his fine performances at the back end of last season is Norwich City manager Nigel Worthington. The Norwich boss looks to make his squad stronger as he looks to mount a serious promotion bid after a last seasons dissapointment. Liverpool born Otsemobor signed in January from Rotherham United on a free, he penned a 18 month contract at the Alex.
