Promising midfield prospect Mark Carrington has penned a two-year with the Railwaymen. Carrington who has just recently broke into the first team as a sub was offered the two-year deal last week and decided to put pen to paper.
19-year-old Carrington told the Official Crewe website 'I think I've worked hard and become more assertive. My aim now is to work hard in pre-season and kick on again next season. I feel that when I've played in the first-team that I've done quite well.
'If I can get match sharp then I know I will only improve. I don't really mind where the manager's want me to play. I can play in a few positions and I don't care as long as I can play some games'
Carrington added: 'I feel as though I am getting there. It is better when you train with the players I've mentioned because you can pick little things up and your confidence improves. I want to be a part of a Crewe team challenging for promotion next season."
Meanwhile Darren Moss is still undecided about his future at the Railwaymen, Moss was offered a two year deal at a reduce wage and has also interest from his former club Shrewsbury Town.
26-year-old Moss has had a torrid time with injury wiping out at least 5 months of his season but the former Wales U-21 international has come strong in recent weeks and has also weighed in with some valuable goals.
Moss told the official site: "I spoke to Dario on Friday and he said he was keen to keep me. I'll give him a 'yes' or 'no' this week, but I'd definitely like to stay."
