Jon Otsemobor looks to have played his last game for the Railwaymen as Championship side Norwich City look set hold talks with the want away defender. Crewe MAD did reveal that Norwich were interested in the defender back in October 2006.
24-year-old Otsemobor signed in January 2006 from Rotherham United after the player failed to make an impact at Millmoor and this after he turned Crewe down after a loan spell.
Otsemobor was offered an improved contract just like Billy Jones but the Liverpool born defender decided to keep his options open. The club placed him on the transfer list and slapped a £400k asking price on him prior to the transfer window. Even though a few clubs have been linked during last summer, these being QPR, Preston North End, Bolton and Norwich City none came in for him during the summer or even the January transfer window.
It now seems that Canaries boss Peter Grant looks set to renew his interest after being given permission to speak to him, Gradi told the Sentinel newspaper "Jon will be on his way at the end of the season and I think he could go to Norwich. They have asked if they can speak to him, so perhaps it is all done and dusted.
"Although he has been out of the side, I think enough people have seen him play well and would take a chance on him, as he is free."
