Sagi Burton has left the club today and signed for Peterborough after the Posh offered him a one-year deal and the promise of first team football, something that Dario was unable to guarantee. The centre half leaves on good terms after the short deal at the Alex ended with both parties happy with the arrangement.
Burton made one full apperance for the club, starting in the 2-0 victory at home against Colchester, but after an ankle injury in the same game he failed to regain his place, and is in line to make his Posh debut against his old club Port Vale on Saturday.
The departure of Burton will enhnace the oppertunities available for both Richard Walker and Chris McCready, as both will now be pushing for starting places with Walton still not match fit.
