23-year-old Otsemobor is out of contract in the summer and has been on the transfer list after turning down an improved contract at the Alexandria Stadium. Otsemobor had attracted a few clubs in the past with the likes of Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End linked with him but nothing materialised and this after Crewe had slapped a £400k price tag on him.
It now seems that Cotterill will offer him a lifeline back into the Championship with the Clarets.
