Burnley Reserves 3 v 2 Crewe Reserves

Transfer listed Eugen Bopp did his chance of a move no harm when he netted Crewe's first goal from the penalty spot in a behind closed doors match. While on-loan Simon Church gave an on looking Neil Baker a reminder about a possible extension to his loan spell.
It was a former Crewe player that did the damage with Steve Jones netting twice that saw the Clarets claim the win.

On the positive side was the return of Steven Schumacher who had been out for some time with an ankle injury saw him ruled out for around 9 weeks. The former Bradford City midfielder played the whole 90 mins and will no doubt be pushing for a place on the bench for the trip to Carlisle this Saturday.

Team that played.

Owain Fon Williams, James Bailey, Junior Brown, Danny O'Donnell, Mat Bailey, Steven Schumacher, Eugen Bopp, Byron Moore, Mark Carrington, Tom Pope, Shaun Miller, Simon Church, Tom Lappin, Chris Clements, Nick Farquharson
