Brammer set back while Dario contemplates no changes.

The Alex were dealt yet another blow from captain Dave Brammer. The Birkenhead midfielder has only played 45 minutes in two months and that looks set to continue. Brammer returned to training on Friday but his long standing groin strain was aggravated and Dario says it's impossible to put a date to his come back.

"Bram's suffered a reaction to his injury after returning to training last week. Therefore we havent' put a time limit on his comeback."

The club also remain silent on Brammer's contract. His contract runs out in summer 2004 and since August, when Dario said he will offer what he can, there has been no official word on if anything has been offered, or what's been offered.

Meanwhile, for the tricky trip to Norwich on Saturday Dario said that he may just keep the winning formula. That would see the usual first name on the teamsheet, Kenny Lunt, lose his place to 16 year old Billy Jones, who had a cracking 90 minutes in the 3-0 win against Sunderland. Lunt was suspended for that game and missed his first after 119 consecutive appearances for the club.

Billy has received none stop praise from Dario Gradi and Tuesday's interviews were no different:

"Billy lasted the game better than he thought would, but that's him, nothing really surprises us."

If Dario was to keep the same team it would also leave the experienced Neil Sorvel out of the team, who wasn't risked with a calf knock on Saturday. It would also leave our team with just one outfield player over the age of 24.
